Watershed Health for World Peace: A Benefit for Ama Earthworks
Come socialize with your fellow humans and learn more about decentralized, community-led water work in our bioregion. Ama Earthworks has been selected to participate in the most recent funding round with Ma Earth. They are hosting an evening of fun, music, and friends to kick-off their crowdfunding campaign that begins on July 1. The capital will go towards helping local deed holders repair their streams, creeks, and watersheds – at no cost to the landowners. This is a grassroots effort to help heal the miles of damaged habitat and ecology left in the wake of Helene. If you know someone with a creek/stream who could use help recovering from the flood, please join us to nominate them!
Donating to the Ama Earthworks campaign on the Ma Earth platform is all you need to do to attend!! Campaign goes live on July 1, 2026.
There will be a brief presentation at 5:30, followed by a relaxed evening of music and dance.
