Devil's Foot Summer Reading Rewards Program

Remember the summers when finishing your reading log meant earning something truly worth celebrating? Devil's Foot Beverage Co. is bringing that feeling back! We have partnered with Asheville City Public Schools and Pizza Mind to launch the Devil's Foot Summer Reading Rewards Program, a community initiative running June through September 2026 that rewards kids for reading books the old-fashioned way — one page at a time.

The premise is simple: kids who read 8 books and complete their reading log can bring it to The Mule, Devil's Foot's taproom and event venue in Asheville, to claim a free 4-pack of Devil's Foot craft soda and a coupon for 50% off a kids make-your-own pie at Pizza Mind.

Come stock up on your kiddos’ must-read lists for the Summer at our Scholastic Book Fair! This four-day book fair runs at our place from Thursday June 25th through Sunday June 28th. Proceeds from the fair directly support Asheville City Schools Foundation.

Does you child have to go to Asheville City Schools to participate?

No, any and everyone can participate! No matter if they go to a different school or are homeschooled anyone can participate.

Is there an age limit?

Nope, we want everyone out there reading this summer. If your little one isn't quiet reading yet you are more than welcome to read to them and they can draw a picture about the book on their reading log.
