Watercolor Workshop with Local Artist: Micaiah Darity
Join Micaiah and Asheville City Schools Foundation to close out the Scholastic Book Fair with this free workshop for the kids! ACSF has kindly donated resources for the workshop including paints, brushes, canvas paper and other supplies!
Based in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Micaiah Darity is a multi-disciplinary artist who finds her creative sanctuary in paint. Her work blends diverse mediums with a focus on tactile expression, capturing the raw emotion of the creative process. She strives to create art that feels both intimate and grounded, constantly evolving through the rhythmic application of color.
Bring the kids out to shop books, and create the characters for their very own story!
