A Delicious Mocktail Recipe for those participating in Dry January!

(Serves 2)
Recalling the orange ‘Dreamsicle’ (or was it ‘creamsicle?’) of our childhood, this drink will take you back to a time when you didn’t need alcohol to have fun.
1 Can Devil’s Foot “Future So Bright” Sparkling Lemonade
1/2 tsp Madagascar vanilla extract
1 Orange
Granulated cane sugar for rim garnish
  1. Mix vanilla extract and soda in a tall shaker with a few cubes of ice
  2. Zest top 1/3 of orange with a rasp grater onto a small saucer & mix w/ ~1 Tbsp sugar
  3. Peel remaining zest from orange & bend or twist strips over serving glass to perfume with orange oils
  4. Add juice from 1/2 orange to shaker
  5. Moisten rim of glass with one zest strip & coat the rim with sugar/zest garnish
  6. Strain soda into glass over ice & garnish w/ strip of orange zest
