It’s 1923, and the party’s roarin’ — until an unwelcomed guest is found dead. Think you’ve got the detective skills to find out whodunnit?
Is the murderer a flapping dancer, a jazzy musician or a slyly deferential server? Maybe it will be—YOU!
The Mule invites you for an immersive evening of delicious drinks, snazzy outfits, and big mystery – all set to the sounds of a live jazz band!
The two-hour game rules are simple: arrive in character, follow the detective’s instructions, read from your script and sleuth out the murderer. You may even make some new friends, or enemies, along the way.
This time, we’re giving everyone a chance to enjoy the party. Love dressing up, trying on a sharp Transatlantic accent, and putting on a show? You’ll want to PLAY! Love a good murder mystery and a reason to get snazzy, but public speaking doesn’t really jive with you? Join us as a spectator!
PLAYERS:
- You ARE the show. Once you receive your character packet, it’s important that you commit to their voice, demeanor and aesthetic. This is a chance to let your creativity shine.
- You will be required to converse with strangers and deliver your script through a microphone.
- We kindly ask that only those who truly want the part choose to play.
- We will send you your character packets by mail. Please do NOT share the contents of your packet with others in your party, as YOU could be the murderer!
SPECTATORS:
- You’ll have the opportunity to be in on the fun without taking center stage. Your excitement and energy is essential to filling the room.
- We strongly encourage all our guests to come in costume, so throw together your best 20’s getup!
- Be prepared to gasp, clap, laugh & certainly be entertained!
Both Players and Spectators will take a swing at finding the killer! The winning Player will win a grand prize, while all Spectators who guess correctly will receive a small participation token. Music, welcome drinks and hors d’oeuvres are offered for all in attendance to enjoy.
